MILLERS & ROSSI, AN ART GALLERY AND COCKTAIL BAR, OPENS IN RINO ON FRIDAY, APRIL 14, 2017
The new hybrid space will serve craft cocktails and a tapas-style menu, while celebrating local Colorado contemporary artists
DENVER (April 10th, 2017) – On April, 14th 2017, Millers & Rossi, a new contemporary art gallery and speakeasy-style cocktail bar, opens in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood. Founded by brothers Dustin and Casey Miller, Rafael Depaz, and Aaron Bodrog, Millers & Rossi is located at 3542 Walnut Street, Denver, Colorado 80205, and blends together local Coloradoan art, classic cocktails and a tapas-style small plates in a lively space designed to make all guests feel welcome.
“We are incredibly excited to unveil Millers and Rossi in Denver, and couldn’t be happier to have found our home in the RiNo arts district,” says Dustin Miller. “We created Millers & Rossi to be a go-to destination for everyone, from art lovers and foodies, locals to visitors, and look forward to introducing our guests to a new experience.”
Housed in a former warehouse, Millers & Rossi is split into two distinctive rooms offering different yet complementary designs. Guests enter Millers & Rossi through a glass door, which opens into the art gallery in bright, inviting front room meant to showcase both the displayed artwork and naturally stunning design of the former warehouse. The cocktail bar, featuring a 1920’s-inspired design with a digital age twist with exposed brick walls, blue suede chairs, and copper accents scattered throughout.
The art collection is curated by Dustin Miller, who fell in love with photography while spending time in South Africa, and pursued his passion by leaving his Masters program at West Virginia University to attend the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. All of Miller & Rossi’s artwork, which ranges from photography, sculptures, paintings, and mixed media, comes from local artists in and near Denver. Miller, whose own photographs of wildlife, nature, and landscapes will be displayed in the space, found most of the artists throughout social media. Millers & Rossi will also participate in community art events, such as RiNo’s First Fridays and Raw Denver.
Millers & Rossi’s food menu was created by Casey Miller, who grew up cooking with his mother and honed his skills at Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. Chef Miller will serve a selection of tapas-style small plates. The food menu will be available in early May.
Millers & Rossi’s beverage program, designed by Mixologist Rafael Depaz, features an array of classics made with simple ingredients and show-stopping techniques. Guests will enjoy drinks such as the Smoked Old Fashioned, made with Bulleit bourbon, Demarara, simple syrup, organic sugar, orange, and bitters, served in a glass smoked off of a cedar wood plank. There will also be a selection of wine and beer.
Millers & Rossi Art Gallery will be open Wednesday through Saturday 11am to 2am and Sunday 11am to 11pm. The Speakeasy will be open Wednesday through Saturday 4pm-2am and Sunday 2pm to 11pm. For more information, visit www.millersandrossi.com.
